Horses Pt. 2

In keeping with the same horse theme Saturday Lee and I headed down to Indianapolis to meet up with the Wagners. We went out to eat, did a little big city shopping, played a few games of Settlers, and watched the Notre Dame game. Sunday morning we woke up early, ate some Asiago Cheese bagels with Garden Veggie spread, and headed to the Colts game against the 49ers. This is the second year that we have gone to a Colts game and Lucas Oil was just as cool this year as it was last year. This year the roof was open! We got there early so that we could look around, take pictures, get down close to the field, and watch some of the warmups. It's just so exciting to actually be there watching them play. To hear all the people yell when the other team has the ball and to listen as the entire stadium goes silent so that Peyton can make his audible calls without noise. It's good family bonding while eating over-priced nachos and soft pretzels, sipping an ice cold $8 Diet Coke, and watching football. It's just such an experience. We loved every minute of it.
Maybe my favorite part of the whole game was this adorable old man who would hop up every time the Colts got a first down or scored a touch down and lead our section in a cheer. He was definitely my favorite part of the day.

Sounds like you guys had a great time. I have never been to an NFL game before. I bet it is so cool to be with crowd...and depending on how drunk, maybe sometimes not:) Glad you had fun.
