The Wii

Our time in Ohio was very restful and relaxing. We played more games of Settlers of Catan than I can count and were outside hiking, shooting guns, and just enjoying the country. For Christmas I got my dad the "Big Brain Academy" for the Wii. This proved to test our mental abilities. You can do an individual test or you can race against someone else. It's all problem solving type stuff......puzzles and such. Realizing my family is so competitive that we have a trophy for Settlers that we keep track of who wins each game.......you can only image the intensity level of a game that tests your IQ. Here is a shot of Lee focused on his "test".
But out and out the highlight of break for us was the game "We Ski". Mom got it for Lee for Christmas to go with the "ski" theme. Over the past few years Lee has put together quite the snow outfit. He has the Spyder jacket and gloves, the Columbia snow pants, the UnderArmour shirt, hat, and socks, and now the snow boots. He's SET. So since skiing in Indiana/Ohio isn't exactly great we went "skiing" on the tv. It was hysterical. Each of us have a "Mii" which is your character that you create to play the games on a Nintendo Wii. Watching them ski made us laugh a lot. Here are some shots of our "Miis".
Me, Dad, Lee, and Miriam out on the slopes.
I think that might be Lee and I's Christmas card for next year........aren't we cute? After a long day of skiing we then spent our time relaxing in the hot springs on the side of the mountain.
Or maybe it was just all a dream and this is what we really looked like as we played:
