We've got us some insulation! Not only is the insulation in, the electric is good to go. I think this might be the first day where there was some sort of noticeable progress. Lee and Pops have been working SOOO hard on this room, it's just been such a slow process. We definitely could not have done it without his help. Lee's folks have been working faithfully with us on trying to get things completed. This is my room that I have been working on:
Mama Sue and I have almost completed the guest bedroom. It's purple and pretty amazing. Which is good because it's looking more and more like we might be sleeping in it until our room gets done. This project at least makes me feel like the hours and hours and hours and hours we have spent at the house has not been in vain. At least one room looks better than when we bought the place! Unfortunately, the "girl" projects have to be ones that are not downstairs where they will soon be dirty and covered with drywall dust. So the things that really need done will have to wait until we are out of the construction zone. And the upstairs will get it's face lift way ahead of schedule. I just want to hang my curtain and say....this room is finished! Well except for carpet, and furniture, and decorations........but you know what I mean.
