It's like having a second job....

We closed on the house and immediately began the process of the main project that we hoped to complete before spring break (first week of April). We wanted to get rid of the plaster walls in the bedroom and office mainly because it would allow us to build a new closet. There was a major set back which caused great panic but the Lord has been faithful in providing a LOT of people willing to step in and help us after we found ourselves in a bit of a situation. Lee and I worked very very hard on the things we could do...Lee ripped out the old closet, I battled wall paper in an upstairs bedroom, and we managed for several days. Then we had the help of our small group guys who came and in a cloud of fury ripped out all of the plaster and lathe. Under that were more boards that needed to be torn out and on Friday night our good friend Chad helped with that. Saturday was a day of working with Lee's folks who graciously helped with electrical and clean up...and today more of the same. It has been a whirlwind. Lee and I were SOOO tired that we actually went to bed at 9:00 last night. Here is the proof of just how much work and help we've had in just this first week!!

We were really worried about what the next step needed to be and God answered another prayer this morning. We started a new sunday school class today and a man we'd just met started talking to us and offered to drive to our house and look at it! He gave us some good advise and so we feel a little better about the whole thing. I'm just going to keep praying that the Lord provides and that we are faithful even when circumstances might be difficult!
