The Inside.

So this is the living room that pretty much is as big as the house we live in now. We joked that we could fit all of our furniture in there and have a "studio" apartment. Then just for fun we measured the house we are living in now and it is only three feet wider and three feet deeper. So you might think that this room is huge....and it's good sized, but I'm afraid it is the house we have now that is really SMALL. Off the living room is a half bath that has barn siding walls and is very "country." From the living room you head into the kitchen.....to the left of of the kitchen is what we are going to make the dining room/study (someday). For now we have to figure out what to do with the very dark and dingy KNOTTY PINE. Then through that doorway are the stairs that lead up to a landing and two scary bedrooms that will need total overhauls (someday)....when we have need for those rooms. Directly through the door is the room we will use for an office, the master bedroom is to the left, the bathroom to the right and a mud room off the kitchen/bathroom.
There it is. As you can see everything is in pretty good shape, it needs some love, some updating, and a few small remodel projects.....but we are hoping with the $8,000 tax credit we can really make this place cozy.
