First Trip to Ohio

Friday was Toby's first day of school. I took him in to meet my kids! He did so great and the kids loved him. He romped and played and got LOTS of attention. Then Friday after school we loaded up the "family" and headed to Ohio for the weekend. Toby was pooped from his first day of school and slept the entire 4 hour drive using his kangaroo toy as a pillow.

As always it was a good time. There is something so relaxing and refreshing about spending time with your family. Nothing like laughing and talking and just thanking the Lord for all the blessings we have.

Toby got to meet Edie who is my parents dog. Edie wasn't quite as friendly initially. Toby really wanted to be her friend but was scared when she barked mean and showed her teeth. Here are some cute shots from the weekend. Note Toby is 11 weeks old. Edie is almost 2 years old :)

They did all their tricks for treats. Pretty cute huh? Every time Edie would come to chase Toby he would just shove his tail-less butt in her face. Don't know what kind of move that was...I like to think he was trying to show Edie that his nub was wiggling and that he just wanted to be friends, although it often looked like a defensive strategy to keep her way from his face!
After a jam packed weekend we headed home on Sunday afternoon. Toby had so much fun he again slept the whole car ride back. This time in this position: Oh puppies. So much work. So much fun. So soft and fuzzy. ISN'T HE CUTE?!?!?!
