It seems as summer comes to a close these last few days... become packed with activity. Friday evening we spent hanging out with Lee's Grandpa Snider and Grandma Kaye...along with their good friends. We laugh so hard together. It is seriously
so much fun. Lee and I consider ourselves very blessed to have the opportunity to spend time one on one with his grandparents and see them interact with some of their best friends. Witty banter abounds and laughter is constant throughout the evening. What a treat it is to see two couples who have been married and endured life together still having such fun with one another.
Then Saturday we went to the Snider lake cottage for some family time. The weather was not really cooperative. When you are at the lake you want it hot because unless water activities are an option there isn't much to do. We spent time catching up with the cousins and their families, chasing around the boys, and watching the Olympics. Our nephews were, as always, a riot. Jarrett did not spend too much of his attention on us as he ran around with a second cousin. They were having the time of their lives. At one point Bryce came by mumbling, "Jarrett, where are you?"

Brayden hung out with Lee and I. He isn't quite mobile enough yet to keep up with the "big boys". Here is a shot of him watching them run around.

Lee's cousin Travis and his wife Jenn have an adorable baby girl Adrianna. She was pretty stinking cute. I did a mini photo shoot with her.

Here are a few other shots of Brayden. We sure had fun enjoying the kiddos!

Brayden already has his tough face down pat. This little suit made him look like a muscle man...we laughed pretty hard as he ran around. Doesn't he look like he could be Lee's kid? If our kids turn out that cute we'll be all set. Throw in some curly blonde hair...oh man.

It is freaky how much Bray looks like Lee! It's his little mini-me! Like you said.. slap some curly hair on him from your genes and that's what your kid will look like.
