Last night around 10:30 pm we had some severe weather. The tornado sirens were going off, the tv was making that horrible noise with the black ALERT that we were under a tornado warning. We knew that they weren't kidding when we went outside to see the sky looking like this!
We saw the storm front quickly move in. There were all of these low hanging clouds (top of picture) and the storm front (bottom of the picture). It seriously arrived in about a minute. The clouds moved off, the temperature dropped, the winds picked up (they said 70mph but I don't know), and then the rains came. Then there was continuous lightening for about 1/2 hour. And while I was outside trying to take pictures of the crazy clouds.........Lee could be found looking like this:
Just kidding, he wasn't in there the WHOLE time. In all honesty we did clear out the closet, had our most important pictures and things in there, a flashlight, and our cell phones. It was Lee's idea for the helmet. He wanted to protect his noggin. When I pointed out that I didn't have a football helmet to wear, he decided that we would wear our bike helmets together instead. So that we had equivalent protection. Luckily there was no serious damage. We are safe and sound.

Two days of insane, crazy laughter is too much. Really, the blogs have made otherwise tedious stressful days bearable. Lee is too funny.

Pretty funny. I wish I would say that the picture of Lee surprised me, but really I wouldn't have expected anything less funny! Hope to see you this weekend up at the cottage.

That is absolutely hilarious and that is exactly what I would look like in the closet hiding from the tornado!!!
