Brad Paisley

This weekend we headed towards Indianapolis to spend some time with our bestest friends Jason and Sarah. Jason and Lee grew up together from the time they were big enough to be in Sunday School. Jason was the best man in our wedding and Sarah has over the past few years become one of my really good friends. We went down on Friday and went out to eat in Carmel at a pizza joint. Saturday we spent a vast majority of the day riding four wheelers between all the corn fields Jason is in charge of.

Then Saturday evening we headed to Verizon for a Brad Paisley Concert.

The show itself was awesome. The number of incredibly drunk and stupid people that were sitting all around us made it slightly less enjoyable. Without even exaggerating we saw 4 verbal altercations between strangers that began with yelling every cuss word in the book, moved into shoving, fists drew back, and then someone would step in so that one guy didn't punch the other. 4 times! And those are only the ones that happened within ear shot of our blanket! Guess that's what you get when you get a bunch of drunk country folks packed into tight spaces. The concert itself was amazing, and the drunken people watching sparked a conversation about the rudeness of our culture and what it will be like to raise children in it someday.

And so......that was our last hoorah before school begins. It's the final count down. One week until school begins!
