The Wagners made a one day round trip out today to bring us our new bed. They must really love me! Drive eight hours in one day....I sure do have some great parents. Mom wanted to sell this bed so that Dad's "hobby" would be lucrative. My dad on the other hand, just couldn't let such a special piece just go to live anywhere because if it lives at my house he can still come visit. Can you believe that my dad MADE THIS BED and NIGHTSTANDS out of old barn siding? Pictures do not do this bedroom justice. This is one of the rooms we gutted and then put back together. From studs and sub flooring to this. It's been a long journey, one I would HATE to go through again, but this room, with this special bed made by my dad, is amazing. Amazing.

very much! We enjoyed spending the afternoon with you, and yes, it was alot of time on the road, for a short visit, but so worth it.
Seeing your house come together, and realizing how much work you have done, makes us very proud of you :)
The ice cream at the end of the day was a fun treat, too!
