Wagner Weekend

Miriam apparently has been spoiled by my prompt postings and is now harrassing me when photos do not appear in a timely fashion. This last weekend Lee and I headed to Indianapolis to meet up with the Wagners. It was my parents' 30th wedding anniversary on Valentine's Day and so we met up with them to celebrate. We headed to the Mongolian Barbeque for dinner and then to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert. The Cheesecake Factory proved to be a long long wait for a cup of coffee and cheesecake.....but it was SO good and we got a few cute photos out of it.....you know: for the blog.
Mom and Dad.....aren't they so cute!?!
Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters.

The Snider's

It's always so good to spend time together as a family. We get a chance to all be together so rarely that the time just flies by. It's so good because we can talk, and catch up, and laugh, and joke (although sometimes the banter is excessive), and we all just get each other. I've always been really independent and didn't "need" to be close to my family and I've been away for a long long time...but after getting married I've noticed it changed slightly because I want my family to feel as though they know Lee like they know me. I want Lee to be able to feel like he's a part of the Wagner's.....not just the guy I bring home twice a year who provides for me financially. They have known me forever and even if they have only seen me a few times a year for the past four years they still always knew me........but I want them to "get" Lee and know him well. It's interesting I didn't really put that together until just now. Lee has blended right in and has with ease become part of our family. Really he just enjoys sitting and listening to other people make fun of me or physically hurt me (dad!).

Well this coming week is one of midterms and preparations for school trip to Mexico for spring break. I may take a break from paper writing and midterm studying to post pictures of a new baby. Natalie (Lee's sister) had a healthy baby boy today. We are looking forward to visiting little baby Brayden!
