Catching up!

Well I've got lots to post about. My volleyball season is over. My team ended with a 5-9 record. I was really proud of them. They really improved near the end of the season and almost took out the #1 team in the tournament. I am not sad because I learned a valuable lesson: Even when the season is over.... a complaining parent will complain. One of my starters moms (a girl who played all of every game all season) called me at 10:30pm on the Saturday night of the tournament to yell at me for not letting her daughter serve in the tournament game. How ridiculous. The mother was actually so intense I ended up saying, "The season is over. There were five girls on the team who, combined, did not play as much as your daugher and I do not have to take this." Then I hung up on her as she yelled at me. So that's the end of that. Next season I think I'm going to interview the parents before I decide which girls to keep on the team. :)
