A packed weekend.

Friday evening was the Food-a-thon for Lee's school. He had spent A LOT of time organizing this event as a fundraiser for a community food bank. Admission was two canned good items. The teachers played in a basketball game against another elementary school in the corporation. They earned $24,000 and filled a Uhaul with food for the food bank. There were all sorts of prizes, and the gymnasium was COMPLETELY packed out with families from the community. It was a lot of fun. Lee and one of the other teachers came out during the "girl" quarter dressed in pink. Yep, Lee is wearing a skirt. What is worse is that it IS NOT MINE!?! I was the lucky winner of an autographed Jonas Brothers photo. Now, don't even ask me if you can have it (haha) I had about fifteen of Lee's past/present girl students as me if I would give it to them. Of course I had to tell them that I couldn't choose one girl. I really would have liked to win just about any of the other give aways. Giftcards to restaurants, a Nintendo Wii, but no I got the one thing I have no idea what to do with. I'm going to look into selling it on Ebay. OR if anyone reading this knows a girl who would die for it.....anyway. Lee had his own little cheering section....his parents, his sister and the boys, and me. We had a lot of fun. Brayden wanted to be in on the action and could not understand why he couldn't run out and play on the court. So.....they had to leave a bit early. Saturday afternoons I coach in an out of season volleyball league at the high school Lee went to. The girls pay and get to play five Saturdays up until Christmas. It's fun and I get to coach/play a bit longer. As soon as my volleyball games ended we headed to Indianapolis to meet up with my parents/sister for an outing. TO THE COLTS GAME. My dad decided that he wanted to check out the new stadium and so he bought us tickets to go! IT IS AMAZING!?!?!? Lee was like a little boy, wanting to see and check everything out. It was a great game to watch. The Colts ended up pulling out the win over the Texans 33-27. Here are some photos. Everyone should go to a game and check out the new, amazingly cool, AND manly stadium.
Lee was pretty excited to get to sit in this pulling tractor. There was like a line of little boys......and Lee. Their moms were taking their pictures...I was taking Lee's. But he couldn't miss his chance to sit in one of these babies. He was raised by Pop to appreciate this machine!
We headed back home this evening, unpacked, and tried to motivate ourselves to begin another work week. What a blast. It's good to spend time with Wagners and enjoy such a sweet event. Thanks dad for taking us. As always it is tucked away as another fun memory. I just keep thinking......I don't wanna go to work! :)

Hi Becca-

I am so easy. Sue has a list of things that I want for Christmas...but I want to make it clear that I DO NOT want a Jonas Brother signed picture. :)

Hope your week goes fast!
