We then headed out on Thanksgiving day to the Ballmer's for our annual mixed family Thanksgiving. It's an interesting tradition that we have for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have tried to type it out and explain it like three times but it is almost too confusing. Here is the breakdown:
Family 1: Loren, Carole, Miriam Wagner.......Lee and Becca Snider
Family 2: My mom's sister: My Aunt Bren, Uncle John, cousin Boston Ballmer.......cousin Benji, his wife Sarah, their kids Dance, and Acie Ballmer
Family 3: Dan, Tracy, Lindsey Ballmer (my uncle John's brother)
Family 4: Grandpa and Grandma Ballmer
We had a lot of fun. We played the Wii, some intense hands of poker, for me the best part was I got to go out to the Findlay college horse barns and ride Aunt Bren's horse! Plus gave her a mini-riding lesson. We celebrated Dance's 3rd birthday and Cousin Lindsay (who isn't my real cousin)'s engagement.....Quite possibly the most entertaining part of the whole thing was Dance's telling of the Bible story Jonah. She is three! Lines to watch for.....God told Jonah to go to Ninevah and tell the people to "Stop doing bad things." "The sailors threw Jonah into the raging sea and INSTANTLY it became calm. A big fish came and swallowed Jonah up. He was in the fish for three days and three nights." She then runs out of the room to get prompted by Benji because she gets stuck and cannot remember the next line. She also can do the Creation story in Genesis but when telling that one you could hardly hear her on the video.
