It has been Lee's life long dream to have a blog, and so to appease him I've created one for us. I suppose it is best to begin with the wedding?!? Lee and I had been friends for many years starting way back in our sophomore/junior years at IWU. We became best friends in 2004, started dating in January of 2005, got engaged over Labor Day weekend, and then married June 24, 2006. The wedding was perfect. Everything went smoothly, the weather was gorgeous, and all of our friends and family were there.
My bridesmaids were: Sarah Nyen, Whitney King, Miriam Wagner*, Janine Champoux, and Laura Dickinson.
The best surprise of my whole life was when my long time friends Jake and Betsy Burns drove from NY for the wedding. They did not tell me they were coming. I had not seen them in five years! They brought precious cargo.... their daughter Becca. And while she is named after me, this was the first time I'd gotten to meet her. It was a very emotional surprise.
Lee's groomsmen were: Jason Berry, John Culp, Matt Hessel, Ben Stoltzfus, Cullen Stanger, Jon Siegelin, Brian Grossman, Jason Morehouse*, and Kent Bjurstrom.
This was the best feeling when we were leaving the church!!! Finally we were heading to the reception where there would be great food, dancing, and time spent with friends and family. After that we would head off to Tulum, Mexico to recuperate.

Lee and Becca!!! You guys got married!! We graduated IWU in '03, so you guys weren't even dating yet! How fun!!!! Your wedding pictures are amazing!
