Visiting the Siegelins!

Because of where we live good Christmas shopping is....well, non-existent. So a few weeks ago we headed to Indianapolis to spend some time with our good friends Jon and Jessica. The men folk displayed their masculinity by chopping up a fallen tree with a chain saw. Apparently there is something that just evokes the Wild at Heart in a man when he's got a chain saw and is cutting through trees, making lots of noise........

I don't know, must be a guy thing!


The teachers all took off school on Monday and we hit Castleton to get all of our shopping taken care of. It was a great trip!

After looking at the pictures a few times I decided to hunt down a picture of Jon where he doesn't look like a mass murderer. The all black chainsaw photos made him seem a bit....scary. So here is one from our wedding where he looks like someone who is safe to be friends with.
