Hooray for a snow day!! Lee and I woke up this morning to the wonderful sound of the elementary school secretary calling to inform us that there was no school today! We spent a vast majority of the morning.....in bed. Then we bundled up and went outside to enjoy the day. We shoveled the driveway, made a pathway to the mailbox, and rescued our trashcan which had gotten ran over by the snow plow. While our jackets are really really warm, I got a little too cold to stay out much longer.

I better be prepared though because next weekend we are heading to Chicago for the "Numbthumb Classic". An outdoor flag football tournament that Lee and all of his college buddies are going to play in. I mean if I think it's cold out today, imagine how excited I am for Chicago with a high of 14* BEFORE the windchill factor is calculated in. Be sure to check back early next week for pictures of the Numbthumb!
