Last night was a sad time in the Snider household. Ironically, NEITHER of our favorite teams showed up for their respective bowl games, and both lost 41-14. Notre Dame and Ohio State did not bring Lee and I the joy that we had hoped this bowl game season. I could rant and rave about how stupid it is that the bowl games are so far removed from regular season, I could make excuses that without Teddy Ginn, Jr. ol' Troy Smith just wasn't quite himself. But really it boiled down to Florida showing up in every facet of the game and Ohio State not looking anything like themselves. So instead of thinking about what might have been, I'm going to wear black and just try to make it through the day.

Where were the Buckeyes?

From another Notre Dame and Ohio State duo - we feel your pain :) Hi Becca, I'm not sure if you remember me or not, but I was at IWU the same time as you and Lee. My husband and I live just north of you guys now, up by Elkhart. We hear you also know Mr. and Mrs. Knight :) We get down to Grace every once-in-awhile for a visit so maybe we'll run into you sometime! It's been fun catching up on your blog. Okay, hilarious about wearing black...I laughed out loud. I was very surprised by Ohio State. I'm a huge Notre Dame fan, but sad to say, not as shocked! Looking forward to spending the weekend with the both of you.
