Saturday Morning came REAL QUICK.

So it might not have been wise to be up until 3AM on Friday night but we had to hang out with our friends one last time! The morning then came quickly and we began day two of our overbooked holiday weekend. We packed up all of the necessary things and headed to the Snider's lake cottage. It's about an hour from our house. Thankfully we didn't have to be there quite as early as we'd thought so that allowed us time to get things around. The main purpose of this workday is for the men to put the pier in. The water was certainly refreshing but didn't seem to phase the menfolk too much. Here is a flipbook version of what happened.....

It is shocking that for years and years Grandpa Snider has done this on his own without any help! While the guys were working Jarrett was watching with great interest.

We were there most of the day and headed out around 8:30. I got home and was so beat that I took my shoes off and my contacts out before pretty much falling into bed.
